No, this is not a per person tally, it's what Jah required the Israelites to slaughter at his temple on behalf of the whole nation. Of course it’s not much when put alongside a nation of two million, but the Israelites really couldn’t afford to eat any of the animals in case they ran short. And without the smell of burning flesh to appease his fetish, in precisely the right amounts, Jah’s fierce anger would blaze and then hunger would be the least of Israel's problems.

I think he is doing the best he can.
For those of us outside of the US, that's what worries us the most.

Somewhere and somehow there is an answer for every Bible question
Yep, and the answer to this one is simple. They couldn’t eat the animals because they needed them to sacrifice and burn to Jehovah. They had to burn two lambs a day (Num 28:3) plus an extra two every Sabbath (Num 28:9), plus two bulls, one ram, seven lambs and one goat every new moon (Num 28:11&15), and they had to repeat that after the Passover (Num 28:19 & 22-24) and Festival of Weeks (Num 28:27 & 30), and during the seventh month they had to slaughter a grand total of 75 bulls, 17 rams, 119 lambs and 9 goats (Num 29:2-38).
That’s an annual slaughter of 105 bulls, 32 rams, 873 lambs and 24 goats. You sure wouldn’t want to be a lamb back then.
My Bible question is, Why?

In the UK his reputation for recklessness hasn’t diminished. He appears to care more for the American economy than he does for the American people. He’s going to get America back to work by Easter because it’s a “very nice timeline, very nice” – well good luck with that. I always thought he was a moron until someone pointed out that you have to have an IQ of at least 51 to qualify.

The famous liars
by days of future passed ini was talking with my sister and the subject of the wt using rahab as an exemplary example of theocratic warfare which is of course, lying.
when the wt uses her, they fail to highlight the fact that she was a temple prostitute and an unbeliever when she "saved" the spies.. i said you know, the wt doesn't use the most famous liar as an example.
that would be peter of course.

Lesson: Even in the face of death, always be honest.
Really? Perhaps someone should have told Isaac, "So Isaac stayed in Gerar. When the men of that place asked him about his wife, he said, "She is my sister," because he was afraid to say, "She is my wife." He thought, "The men of this place might kill me on account of Rebekah, because she is beautiful."" (Gen 26:6-7)

Don't bee too had on the Dubs, after all, as far as the bible is concerned 2000 years is "soon", so 140 years of saying "soon" is quite scriptural.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet (Rom 16:20).
You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near (James 5:8).
The end of all things is near (1 Pet 4:7).
And as far as the OT is concerned, "soon" could mean over 3000 years.
